How to find us - Travelling to Le Boulevard
Le Boulevard is in the Poitou-Charentes region, about half way between the Loire and the Dordogne, just off the N10 between Poitiers and Angoulemme and approximately 100 kilometers inland from the historic port of La Rochelle. For those with a detailed map, Le Boulevard is located in the middle of a triangle between Souze Vaussais, Chef Boutonne and Ruffec.

The Poitou-Charentes region is well served from the channel ports by motorways and fast main roads. The journey time from Calais & Boulogne has been reduced (now about 6 - 7 hours) by the construction of the new A28 motorway (opened December 2005) from Rouen via Alencon and Le Mans to Tours; this has the added advantage of avoiding Paris.
From Tours you join the A10 to bring you down to Poitiers and then the rest of the journey on the N10 is on dual carriageway until you arrive within a few minutes of our house.
With the overnight crossings then a morning arrival at St Malo will leave you only a four hour drive to Le Boulevard, via Rennes and Nantes.
The Poitou Charentes region is well served by low cost airlines.
Ryan Air fly from Stanstead and East Midlands to Poitiers and La Rochelle and from East Midlands and Liverpool to Limoges. EasyJet fly from Bristol & Gatwick to La Rochelle and from Luton & Brtistol to Bordeaux. FlyBe services are from Birmingham, Southampton and Glasgow to La Rochelle and Newcastle and Southampton and Newcastle to Limoges. BMIBaby flights are from Manchester and Birmingham to Bordeaux. British Airways has scheduled flights from Gatwick to Nantes.
Poitiers is the closest airport being less than 1 hours drive to Le Boulevard. La Rochelle, Limoges, Nantes and Bordeaux are about 1.5 hours drive away.
